INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1:
Download the dog pop bag holder pattern, print it at 100% (no scaling) and trim the excess paper.
STEP 2:
Place the felt on your worktop and place the pattern on top. Mark around the pattern (including the hole in the middle).
STEP 3:
Cut out the leather strap according to the pattern. Put aside.
STEP 4:
Fold the felt piece in half along the long side of the pattern so that you have two layers of felt to cut out. Pin together and cut around the outside edge of the pattern.
STEP 5:
Remove the pins, take the marked piece of felt and make a cut in the middle of the center hole. Cut out the hole using a pair of embroidery or small scissors.
STEP 6:
Pin both pieces of felt together, making sure to match the outside edges.
STEP 7:
Take the leather strip and fold it in half. Place the raw edges of the strip between the two layers of felt at the center of the short right side of the dog bone. Use pins or clips to secure.
STEP 8:
Stitch around the dog bone using a 6mm (1/4″) seam allowance. Make sure to double stitch over the strap to secure it.
