INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1:

Cut a piece of webbing 30cm (12″) long. Cut a square of fabric 7.5 x 7.5cm (3 x 3 inches)

STEP 2:

Place the fabric square with right side up on your worktop. Place the webbing on top (right side down if both sides are different) flush with the raw top edge.

STEP 3:

Fold the sides of the fabric on top of the webbing. Pin.

STEP 4:

Stitch the top using a 6mm (1/4″) seam allowance.

STEP 5:

Unfold the fabric so the right side is visible.

STEP 6:

Insert the lobster clasp and slide it to the middle of the webbing.

The clasp should be at the same side where the fabric without the seam is.

STEP 7:

Fold the other end of the webbing to meet the other raw end of the fabric piece. Right side to right side of fabric without seam

STEP 8:

Fold the fabric so it wraps around the webbing as you did previously. Pin.

STEP 9:

Stitch using a 6mm (1/4″) seam allowance.

STEP 10:

Pull the webbing on both sides of the fabric to straighten fabric.

Push the lobster clasp in the middle of the fabric.

STEP 11:

Fold the fabric again to the opposite side so that the seam remains inside.

STEP 12:

Using a zipper foot stitch a square right next to the lobster claps, along the sides and along the webbing.

Voila! The wristlet is ready! Attach your keys and you are ready to go
