- fabric – dark yellow felt 12 x 12 cm (5 x 5″)
- yellow embroidery floss
- hand sewing needle

- scissors
- iron and ironing board
- sewing clips or pins

DIY Angel Wing Ornament VIDEO TUTORIAL
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1:
Download the free angel wing ornament template and print at 100% (no scaling) either on US letter or on A4 paper. Trim the excess paper.
STEP 2:
Place the paper angel wing pattern on top of the felt and draw around it. Flip it over and draw a second one.
Cut out both angel wing pieces
STEP 3:
Make the hanging hole using either a pair of embroidery scrissors or a belt hole punch.
STEP 4:
Place the wing pieces on top of each other and clip them together
STEP 5:
Using 2 strands of embroidery floss stitch all around the wing using a blanket stitch. I’d like to make my stitches small and neat.
STEP 6:
Take a piece of thin gold ribbon about 7″ (18cm) long. Feed it through the hanging hole. Tie off both ends.
Ta-da. Your angel wing ornament is finished
