Tulle skirt with exposed elastic

how to make a tulle skirt

Feel like a princess again with this DIY tulle skirt. You can make it in any size and in any length. The longer the tulle skirt, the more formal the look. The coral tulle skirt I made is gorgeous and I paired it with red satin for the lining. Despite the sophisticated look, it’s easy to make and doesn’t take long to finish. You can make it long or short, depending on your preference.

Easy gathered skirt

Pleats look lovely on a dress but they’re a bit bothersome to make. Gathering the fabric produces a similar look without the hassle of ironing and sewing the pleats. This midi length gathered skirt doesn’t just look good, it’s also easy to make.

I like all the skirts, except the jeans remake. can’t it be made without the zipper panel part? It seems one could use a wide strip of another jean’s leg in the center. Or get a very large pair of jeans at the thrift store that could be cut to fit w/out that flap. Yuk.
I have always loved circle skirts since I was a kid. Dirndle are ok, but on us chubbies it just adds bulk…sigh

It’s a tight fit skirt, so it needs a zipper. If you make it out of larger jean’s you would need to add a zipper at the side seam.
I think you can make it work
